Takeover 9U pitchers didnt allow a single hit, as they defeated Summit 8-0 on Saturday. Takeover scored five runs in the fifth inning to secure the victory. Romeo Sillas, Chris Sanchez, Jojo Igneri, and Casey Holmberg all drove in runs in the frame. Daniel Miller started the game on the mound allowing zero hits and zero runs in two innings while only walking one. The rest of the game was closed out by Romeo Sillas, Chris Sanchez, Shane O'Donnell and Colton O'Donnell all allowing no hits and no runs. All the pitches also combined for eleven strikeouts on the day. Chris Sanchez had a home run in the third inning. Takeover racked up nine hits led by Sillas and Sanchez, Sillas going 3-4.
