Takeover advances to finals with rout of NJ Bulls

Takeover Baseball 11U claims lead In third inning to defeat NJ Bulls 11U. Takeover Baseball 11U stole the lead late in the game in an 11-1 victory over NJ Bulls 11U in the playoffs on Sunday. The game was tied at 1 with Takeover Baseball 11U batting in the bottom of the third when Takeover scored 5 runs led by Kyle Malchiodi. Kyle Malchiodi's RBI double scored Trey Lyerly who singled on a 1-0 count, scoring Jack Pankowski.

Patrick Schwarz had a hit that also scored a run. Takeover Baseball 11U notched another five runs in the fourth inning. The rally was led by a triple by Aaron Feath, a single by Kyle Malchodi, and a double by Trey Lylerly. Trey Lylerly was credited with the victory for Takeover Baseball 11U. He lasted three innings, allowing three hits and one run while striking out three and walking one. Nicholas Wells threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen. Takeover Baseball totaled 13 hits. Kyle Malchiodi, Trey Lyerly, and Jack Pankowski all managed multiple hits for Takeover Baseball 11U. Kyle Malchiodi went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Takeover Baseball 11U in hits. Takeover Baseball 11U tore up the base paths, as three players stole at least two bases. Aaron Feath led the way with two.
