Game 1 - Untamed 1 vs Takeover 9
Takeover Baseball 11U jumped out to an early lead over Untamed and took home a 9-1 victory on Saturday. Takeover Baseball 11U scored 3 in the first when Luke Barry walked and later scored on a groundout by Aaron Feath and then Kyle Malchiodi and Colton Lyerly scored on a base hit by Nicholas Wells in the first inning. Takeover Baseball 11U put up another four runs in the fourth inning all with two outs. The inning was started by Luke Barry who was hit by a pitch followed by 5 hits in a row by Trey Lylerly, Aaron Feath, Kyle Malchiodi, Colton Lyerly, and Nicholas Wells who all knocked in runs. Nicholas Wells took the win for Takeover Baseball 11U, the fireballer went five innings, allowing one run on two hits, striking out two and walking one. Takeover Baseball 11U collected eight hits on the day. Trey Lylerly, Nicholas Wells, and Colton Lylerly each collected multiple hits for Takeover Baseball 11U.
Game 2 - Axemen 10 vs Takeover 1
Takeover Baseball Takeover Baseball 11U fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 10-1 loss to Axmen on Saturday. Aaron Feath toed the rubber for Takeover Baseball 11U, the pitcher went two innings, striking out two. Gavin Glazewski threw three innings out of the bullpen. Luke Barry and Gavin Glazewski all had one hit to lead Takeover Baseball 11U.
Game 3 - NY Gotham 6 vs Takeover 10
Takeover Baseball 11U defeated the NY Gotham club baseball team in a high-scoring affair. Takeover Baseball 11U got things started in the first inning when Trey Lylerly singled, scoring Luke Barry who reached on a hit. Takeover Baseball 11U pulled away for good with four runs in the second inning. In the inning Luke Barry singled scoring Gavin Glazewski and an error scored Jase Sousa and Jack Pankowski for Takeover Baseball 11U. Jack Polowski pitched Takeover Baseball to victory. Polowski allowed five hits and six runs over five and two-thirds innings, striking out two. Trey Lyerly threw one-third of an inning in relief out of the bullpen. Luke Barry led Takeover Baseball with three hits in three at bats. Takeover Baseball 11U stole six bases during the game as two players stole more than one and Trey Lyerly led the way with three. Takeover Baseball 11U fought hard but missed out on tournament play by 2 runs.
