Despite allowing three runs in the third inning, Takeover Baseball 13U defeated Irish Baseball 8-4 on Saturday. Takeover Baseball 13U fired up the offense in the first inning. Brody Henderson grounded out, scoring one run. Takeover Baseball 13U put up three runs in the fourth inning. Paul Serra, Lunden Chadwell, and Gavin Arieno powered the big inning with RBIs. Serra led things off on the pitcher's mound for Takeover Baseball 13U, he went three innings, allowing four runs on four hits and striking out three. Santino Cignarella and Mark Marsigliano reached base and scored on all of their plate appearances and Paul Serra went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Takeover Baseball 13U in hits. Takeover Baseball 13U didn't commit a single error in the field.
